In December 2001 Greenwood Racing Inc., through its' wholly owned subsidiary, The Racing Channel, Inc. obtained a license through the state of Oregon and the Oregon Racing Commission to operate an Account Wagering Operation.

The Racing Channel is a form of account wagering that allows you the flexibility of wagering on pari-mutuel wagering events such as thoroughbreds, harness, greyhound and quarterhorse racing from the comfort of your home or, office. The format of The Racing Channel is to provide you with the current betting information and the ability to select your wager simultaneously on the same screen with no account fees, free of surcharge.

The Racing Channel is a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenwood Racing Inc. (GRI). GRI is recognized as a world leader in pari-mutuel wagering through it's racetrack, off track and account wagering operations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and throughout Europe.

Only individuals 21 years or older can open a Racing Channel account (some restrictions may apply in your area). You can fill in the information on the "Sign Up" section of this web site or you can call us at 1.866.722.3386 and we will mail you an application. Simply fill out the application and return it.

You will have your own account number and password. Your password remains confidential and is solely your responsibility to protect. When you call our live operators, your phone calls are recorded in order that we can protect you and for training purposes.

All simulcast activity currently including account wagering is hubbed through Amtote in Oregon. All wagers are commingled with the host track pools. All payoffs are to track odds in accordance with contracts signed with each individual track.
